TW Tobias Wallmeyer is a doctoral researcher at TU Darmstadt. After studying Political Science, Ethics, and iterary Studies at the University of Bielefeld, he completed his M.A. in the cooperative program Political Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt. His master’s thesis examined the concepts of experience, corporeality, and dialectics and their interrelation in the works of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Theodor W. Adorno.
His research interests focus on the phenomena of crisis and pathology in modern capitalist societies, and on how Critical Theory, Political Economy, and Phenomenology can intersect to illuminate them.
