Bio

Saba Anwar is a researcher in the Language Technology group at the University of Hamburg, pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Chris Biemann. Her research focuses on semantic frame induction and lexical semantics, with an emphasis on leveraging pre-trained deep learning models and contextualized word embeddings. In addition to her research, she is an active member of the teaching team and plays a key role in maintaining and expanding the SCoT ((Sense Clustering over Time) tool in collaboration with the Hub of Computing and Data Science (HCDS) in Hamburg.
