Akrish Adhikari is a scholar of media theory and history, film and literary studies, and digital humanities. He recently completed his PhD from Princeton University (2025), where he wrote a dissertation on the media infrastructures of anticolonialism in the French empire. Before that, he completed a BA at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. He has written broadly on topics such as computational biometrics, ornamentalism, and typewriters for journals such as New Literary History, differences, Configurations, and The Comparatist.
